The event emphasized that eradicating poverty has been a key agenda since the country’s independence and remains a priority in national development plans, including the MADANI Economic Framework.
The framework aims to ensure no one is left behind in economic progress, as seen in positive economic indicators. The symposium’s theme, “Bersama, Berdaya, dan Mampan,” highlights a whole-of-nation approach, capacity building, and continuous efforts in tackling poverty. Recommendations from this event will inform the 13th Malaysia Plan, contributing to long-term, sustainable solutions to uplift the poor and vulnerable.
